Re: VIDEOMELD Multiple Problem, disappointing me..

Hi wilfriedd, Like you, I am also a DJ. I have played around with mixing audio files with perfection, but I never did it with video like what you are describing. However, I also had problems with syncing when I was using high quality MP3's that were VBR encoded. My solution to that problem was simpl...

Lifetime License Question

Hi Chris, I want to buy the lifetime license for Videomeld, but I'm a little confused about the information for this. On the right panel on the Purchase page, it states that "A new license may be required for future versions". Does this mean that whenever a new version of Videomeld is rele...

Feedback from my first 3 hours with VideoMeld

Hi Chris, Firstly, thanks for making this new program. I was getting really worried when you hadn't released a new Multiquence for so long, but now I know why...you've been busy making a whole new program. I've played around with it for a few hours (replicating a recent Multiquence project just to t...

Re: Windows 7

I installed Multiquence on a new Windows 7 computer (fully patched and updated BTW), and Multiquence worked without any problems at all.

Hi, Rather than deleting any sections...just use the "SPLIT" tool to cut the beginning and end of the section you want to retain. Then just drag out that whole section into its own track to easily see how long it is, etc. With this method, there's never any need to delete any sections (as ...

Hi, If you have internet access on the same computer that you have Multiquence, then you can do this with Multiquence. Here's how you would create a click file for a tempo of 120BPM for example... 1. Go to this website: http://www.metronomeonline.com/ 2. On the image in the middle of that website, s...

Hi, I first started this thread over 2 years ago now. All I want to know is "roughly" how much longer will it be before the next major version of Multiquence (version 3) will be released? It's not that I'm in a hurry...but I just would like some idea of the timeframe. Are we talking about ...

Hi Mike, I would also add that you should be working with your audio in a WAV format rather than an MP3 format. This is because WAV files are much higher quality than MP3 files. Althouhgh WAV files are much bigger in size than MP3 files, that should not be a concern anymore with a modern PC. I worke...

Hi, Chris is correct as far as Hollywood DVD's go...they have various software protection systems to stop people from being able to just copy the VOB files, etc. However, if you are talking about your own DVD's (or a DVD that is not copy protected), then you can simply copy the VOB files to your Har...

Re: Another feature request

GoldWave Inc. wrote: Eliminating MIDI support will simplify the design of the next version.

Chris
In that case...just eliminate MIDI support so you can focus on the more important features. MIDI is such an easy thing to convert to audio anyway, there's really no need for Multiquence to support it.

Hi, If the highest possible quality is important to you, then I would recommend you convert the files to uncompressed AVI. Beware that uncompressed AVI files are extremely large in size. But since Hard Drives today are also very large (and affordable), then this is becoming less of an issue really (...

Hi John, That's a great suggestion you made about being able to customize the look of Multiquence's layout. While you're waiting for this feature, I would recommend you simply create a new project and set up the tracks & faders, etc, to exactly how you prefer it, and then just open that project ...

Thanks Chris for clearing that up. I now understand why it's better to use a 3rd party AC3 encoder rather than have it built-in with Multiquence...and I agree with you 100%. On a slightly different subject all together...any idea when Version 3 might be released? Rough number is okay (i.e. 1 year, 2...

HI Chris, It's good to see you get involved in these forums. It's also good to see that after so many years, you haven't sold off Multiquence to some greedy big company. Well done. You mentioned "high licencing fees" for the AC3 feature, but how high are we talking about? I think Multiquen...

Multiquence Wish List...

Hi, I just joined this forum today, so I hope this is the right place to post about a feature Wish List. I think Multiquence is an extremely useful & powerful multi-track editing program. I've been using it since version 1, and I have seen it evolve into its present form. In fact, years ago I em...
