Re: Where's the Plug-In

has anyone determined that the DirectX plug-in update from 9/21/09 restores the functionality of Anwida DX reverb light? I'm having this same problem, even though I'm still using v5.25 and on a related note, has anyone figured a way to preserve effect and plug-in preset parameters while upgrading to...

so, is it safe to say that if the DirectX audio plug-ins in question are already installed and registered within Windows, and I've already restarted GoldWave and I didn't install them while it was running... that there is no further explanation? would you believe I've already had these plug ins dete...

I've used the MobilePre with goldwave in the past. do I remember correctly...? or does goldwave interperet the MobilePre as a single input source despite the fact that MoblePre has 2 channels? If memory serves, this would/might prevent GW from hearing what you plug into the second channel on your Pr...

options/Plugin/effect/DirectX suddenly isn't finding plugins

Plug-ins have been detected just fine for years... Goldwave has typically detected ".DLL" plug-in files after I put them in a folder (in my case it's c/program files/VST plug-ins) It currently detects plug-ins that have been there all along, but isn't dectecting anything new that I add, ei...

Chris - Seems like you're thinking in the right direction - it ends up being the new HD version of the Realtek audio devices on the new Dell that were fighting against my M-audio Delta 1010LT for control of the whole 'audio in' realm. the Realtek stuff that came with my 2002 sony viao was far more a...

device volume always zero (off) !?

I got a new computer (dell, XP pro), and I configured all my connections as they were so smoothly working for years on my old machine (sony viao, xp home). this isn't my only problem, but it's one of the biggest: when I set a device volume in the control properties menu in Goldwave, it defaults back...

all I did was change computers (still the same OS).

any ideas as to what's going wrong?

it seems to me that version 5.22 doesn't remember ANYthing.

when I sent a device volume, it defaults back to zero (no signal at all) the minute I click away.

this would seem to make recording impossible?

I had a miserable time trying to track with a USB audio interface. overwhelming problems with latency, buzz... you name it. When I switched to the PCI-based M-Audio Delta 1010LT, all my problems went away. I was then able to record 4 tracks simultaneously, in-synch, zero latency. Assuming you alread...

another easy feature request

how about a button that toggles between left and right channels during multitrack playback? there are many times when I'd like to hear my audio mixes playing back only what I've panned to a side, without having to mixdown/save and re-open with another audio player. this seems just too easy to leave ...

try selecting the portion of the recording you'd like to be track one. (click on the beginning and the end of the section so the desired section and ONLY this section are highlighted in blue) then, go to FILE - SAVE SELECTION AS and name this selection (perhaps "track 1") and assign the de...

feature request for next version

I would love to be able to adjust the display size of each track in a mulitiquence project. instead of choosing between small, medium and large displays for all the tracks or none of the tracks, I could set the ones I'm working on display large, while ones that are merely running, or not being worke...

That happened to me once. I was recording a keyboard performance with a 1/4" out from the source to an XLR in at the preamp. And the audio capture crapped out like a self-imposed 'fade', from full volume to silence across 20 seconds. I switched up the line, and it never happened again. But I st...
