Re: Mouse Wheel stuck on scrolling
Well, after a bunch of time had passed I went to use Goldwave again today (having forgotten I had this problem) and it was somehow back to working as it should. Thanks for the reply, but I had been using the pop-up menu from the wheel button, but the changes made via that menu did nothing (except ch...

Mouse Wheel stuck on scrolling
I've got a problem with the function of my mouse wheel. I want it to zoom in and out, but it's stuck scrolling. I've had this issue before and eventually found the problem, but can't find it now. I am able to click the wheel and select between the 4 functions and the radio button showing the selecti...

Re: Multiquence will no longer start
Thanks Chris - that is the answer I figured I'd get. This machine/build is getting pretty long in the tooth (over 3 years and counting) and includes all sorts of software including some I don't use anymore. I'll probably rebuilt with Windows 7 soon enough that living with DEP off until then, given a...

Re: Multiquence will no longer start
So it turns out SafeMode testing was useful. Attempts to load Multiquence in SafeMode resulted in app crashes and warnings about Data Execution Prevention. When I added Multique.exe to the exclude list for DEP, I still had the problem. It was not until I turned off DEP (actually, it can't be turned ...

Multiquence will no longer start
I've been a user of Multiquence for many years - Goldwave too. Today however, after having not used Multiquence for some time, I tried to start it and get to window. I do see Multique.exe is taking all CPU from a single core. I'm on Vista Ultimate SP2 with all current updates. Finally, since it's be...

Works for USB Turntable too
Thanks for the answer Chris. I never knew that option was even in Goldwave and while I might have used it before for some things, now I really need it. I just picked up a USB Turntable. It comes with Audacity and of course wants me to use that. The only selling point for doing that was Audacity's Pl...

Thanks Chris
Thanks Chris. I figured it was more likely a Vista issue. Just wanted it on your list in case there is something you can do about it.

Issue with Save Extensions using Vista
I don't know if this is a Goldwave or Vista bug, but I thought I'd document it here and see if maybe Goldwave can fix it. My Goldwave default save format is set to a LAME MP3 set of attributes. Saving into that format works great. But when I want to save to WAV, what worked under XP has a slight gli...
