Re: Match Vol: enable clipping in batch

Well, updating to the latest stable version doesn't help. But after doing some more reading this forum, I realise that I dont really want to clip. What I should do in the batch process is maximise, then use compressor/expander to reduce the peaks, then maximise again. While I'm at it, I'll use compr...

Re: Match Vol: enable clipping in batch

Ah - how stupid, I should have (a) said what version I was using, and (b) checked for a more recent version. Probably in the other order. I have 5.55, will now update it.

Match Vol: enable clipping in batch

On a single file, I can increase the volume of a track using Match Volume and allowing clipping. The preset "Modern" has clipping enabled: when I switch to that preset, "allow clipping" is checked, even if it wasn't checked before. But if I batch-process, with Match Volume and th...

Re: newbie - problem with video format for youtube

Sorry, can't help with that, haven't got far enough to do it myself yet. There must be Help available on the YouTube site, that'd be my first place to look.

Or start a new thread on this forum with a different title which describes your problem.

best wishes,
David

Re: Windows 7

I've now upgraded my laptop from Vista to Windows 7. Some problems at first, but it seems to be settling down now. Multiquence seems to work OK under Windows 7 for me. I opened a project successfully, and saved as a .mov file, and that worked OK. Maybe the updates to Win7 are solving the problems th...

Re: Windows 7

Multiquence development is going very slowly. There is a strong possibility that it's going to be redesigned from scratch with Windows 7 as the base OS. Chris This is bad news, taken together with the previous post, that it doesn't work on Win 7. I registered Multiquence about a week ago, and am us...

Re: newbie - problem with video format for youtube

Thanks for the reply Chris. I installed QT, and can now make .mov videos. I was still getting videos with sound but no picture, but eventually I realised that I'd inadvertently pressed the little 1 button on the audio track in some previous session, and that had got saved in the project. The visual ...

newbie - problem with video format for youtube

I'm a longterm Goldwave user, now evaluating Multiquence. This is my first try at video production. What I want to do is produce music videos for Youtube, using a camera which does not accept external mic. So I use a separate audio recorder, and use multiquence to replace the low-quality sound from ...
