YES :lol: so we need some fixes.

Also an issue is converting with higher bit size as 24/32 to 16 bit!
There is no any dithering applied and ends up in artefacts :roll:

Have with V6.51 an issue converting a stereo flac 24 bit 48kHz to a mono wave file. 1. Flac Stereo 24 bit to Stereo 24 bit PCM seams to work without level attenuation 2. Do Flac Stereo 24 bit to Mono 24 bit PCM (selected only channel 1 on GUI) reduces level be 6dB Is this known or what's the beef ab...

It's a computer/programming tradition to start counting at zero. If you are addressing memory there truly is an address zero location in hardware and in an audio file sample zero also exists. i.e. with 4 bits we can count from binary 0000 (decimal zero) to 1111 (decimal 15 or hexadecimal F). Hi,

may you provide any links or detailed information about the internals of the XAC wave file format. Any light on this?

Goggled but this was a shut into the dark.

Or is it similar to W64 format?
