Re: Is it possible to create macros?

Evaluate Equation isn't available. I want to be able to use this as one of the steps in my process, but it's not available in the batch processing mode.

Is it possible to create macros?

Often times, processing a sound will involve applying multiple processing steps, not just a single step like a lowpass filter, but rather maybe a sequence of filters and other effects. If you want to do the EXACT same set of steps on multiple sounds, it would help if I could create a macro, consisti...

PLEASE release a portable version of GoldWave

Related to another post on here, but I don't want an unofficial "portablized" version which is basically a "portablization" hack of the normally non-portable software. What I want to know is WHEN is GoldWave Inc. going to release a Goldwave Portable officially?

I notice a bug in the program

When you use the playback rate control to set the sample rate (and thus the playback speed) of the WAV file in GoldWave it gives you many choices based on standard sample rates. Among these is is the option for 5500 hz. However the standard sample rate is 5512 hz, not 5500 hz. The result is that whe...

Re: I have a unique problem with M-Audio Delta Audiophile 19

Sorry but I only have these options
16bit
24bit
IEEE 32bit

I'm using the latest NON-beta release. Is the beta version the only one that has a "shared" option, as like a new feature or something?

Re: I have a unique problem with M-Audio Delta Audiophile 19

I tried it. It seemed to make no difference.

Besides it isn't the initialization that is so much the problem but rather the un-initialization when not playing that isn't taking place correctly.

I think it's an obvious bug in Goldwave software itself.

I have a unique problem with M-Audio Delta Audiophile 192

and it's not the same problem that someone previously reported. I don't experience there problem. My problem is the correct sample rate selection. I load a 16khz sample rate wave file and then play it sets the sample rate in the sound card hardware itself to match (as seen by looking at the M-Audio ...

Re: I've got an idea.

I know that, but that spectrum display only shows one point in time (is a fft spectrum, but NOT a spectrogram) and only shows in logarithmic frequencies, and only shows logarithmic amplitudes. As a ham radio / shortwave radio enthusiast, I'm used to my software using full spectrograms and a linear f...

I've got an idea.

I'm not a dev myself but here's an idea. I'm surprised it wasn't part of the normal GW package. Someone really should make a spectrogram display with cursor frequency indicator. That is, putting your mouse cursor over the spectrogram should should give a frequency readout in a small numerical displa...

Re: How do I make AT3 (atrac3 codec) based WAV files?

I see what's wrong with the tutorial. It must be put in the "Goldwave" folder and NOT in the "Goldwave\file" folder.

Re: [Tutorial] How to enable ATRAC3 conversion with GoldWave

In theory only the decoder is handled by Windows though. The encoder (the acm file) is handled entirely by Goldwave so it should work. However as the guy above mentioned it doesn't give me that option. And yes I'm running Windows 7. I'm not sure what's glitching. Anyone know of a hack or patch to Go...

Re: How do I make AT3 (atrac3 codec) based WAV files?

Thanks for the idea but it didn't work. I installed the decoder on my computer. I copied the acm file to the files directory in the Goldwave program directory. I tried renaming the extension to DLL, and ABSOLUTELY NOTHING I've tried works. Does the latest version of Goldwave have this codec intentio...

How do I make AT3 (atrac3 codec) based WAV files?

I followed the tutorial at http://forums.qj.net/guides-psp-mods-media/41612-how-make-at3-files.html which says how to make it work using 3rd party AT3 codec for Windows (enables Windows media player to play AT3 encoded audio). It's a file format of audio used by the Sony PSP. Unfortunately this tuto...
