Re: Equalizer band
re: master gain The Spectrum Filter has a "Master gain" control, so you might be able to use that instead of the Parametric Equalizer. Or, you could create an effect chain that does your Parametric EQ followed by a volume effect like Maximize Volume. re: size and bitrate If you are opening...

Re: Remove clicking
Yes, I have also used the Channel Mixer to do a "Mono Left" or "Mono Right" if the defect is only on the other channel. It often works, but as you mentioned, the left and right channels can't be too different -- otherwise it just substitutes one aberration for another. And yes, w...

Re: WAV file with cue point - save as FLAC fails
I can confirm that this also happens when you use cue points to split a WAV file. The resulting individual WAV files all have a cue point at the start and if you try to use batch processing to save them as FLAC (for archive purposes) they all fail.
This used to work in earlier versions of GoldWave.

I am using a vanilla install of GoldWave v5.54 and I find that when I have a WAV file with a cue point in it and I try to save it as FLAC I get the following error: Exception: Memory access violation. [Address: 0x010501F8, Module: FLACFile.pig, Read of 0x00000000] I have been able to recreate the er...

I just crunched 775 files in 165 folders from .wav down to .flac an...
