I visited your website... nice stuff!
I don't do much production where I need to add a music bed these days... but even with three different production libraries here on the shelf, I might have reason to call on you! Thanks for posting it.

Re: About creating audio loops ...
Brian - I am with you on this one. Making loops is very, very simple. It is not complicated or difficult. Some things are very easy, some can be difficult, and some things simply don't really work well at all. For those who want to make some loops, but want it automated, I gotta tell ya: It doesn't ...

I know what ya mean -- I can't hear much above 8,000. My wife can hear well above that. My daughter and her kids can pick up tones of 18,000 or higher.

Re: Noise Reduction
Two or three years ago, I had the opportunity to try Sound Forge. It may be a lot better now, but at the time it was no where close to Goldwave. The Noise Reduction tool in Goldwave is really very, very good. Someone I "know" from a different message board had a voice track that needed som...

Re: Flavors of Play
Perhaps I'm missing something... but when I right click any of the green arrows, the very top selection on the list is "All".
Does "All" not accomplish what you are saying you want to do?

Re: Goldwave skipping
Zoom in on the first few seconds and take a look and see if there is anything that is visibly out of place. On one earlier version of Goldwave, I had an occasional problem with the last little bit of sound on a track being absent from the end of the track, but laying there at the beginning of the tr...

Re: Trouble getting the VST plug-in to recognize Certain VST
...is there a Plug-in, or other, way to echo a portion of the ending and have it repeat as it fades? Very carefully select very precisely what you would like to repeat. Ctrl/C will copy and Ctrl/V will paste in the copy as many times as you care to repeat Ctrl/V. Then, use the Shape Volume tool to ...

Re: Loud Music but Weak Vocals
Goldwave (GW) continues to amaze me with what it can do. Me too... The more I use GoldWave, the more I appreciate what Chris has accomplished. A lot of the music that was popular for a short time, once upon a time, simply goes away and is forgotten forever. Some may still exist, but is not easy to ...

Me too... I've tried various other programs and I just don't like any of them. Goldwave is a very high quality program that works, and works very well. There are more tools than most users will ever need or use. The learning curve does exist, just as it will with any digital recording and editing pr...

Re: Copy and paste selected area directly after selected are
I've made a few thousand seamless loops. Some music is very easy to work with for this purpose and some is not so easy. You will have to be absolutely certain that the start and stop points of the bit that will be repeating blend together cleanly. I find those points using the 2nd Play button, which...
