I think the integration allowing you to use the WinAmp plug ins with GoldWave is very cool. Unforunately, I haven't been able to find any that work yet except the "dsp_centercut Winamp Plugin", which was given out with the download. All the other ones give the errors mentioned in the readm...

The best thing in your case is to use the silence reduction feature. There you can set the silence threshold and change the length to which you desire the length to be. If you have really long breaks, maybe just use the preset to "reduce silences to half a second", (and if you're still uns...

Im sorry, its Window | Classic Control, not control panel as I stated above. You can also select horizontal or vertical control, but the classic is the one from the previous versions, which is what you were probably looking for.

The silence reduction feature was first introduced in version 5.00 (I guess thats why you couldn't find it in the first place, azoundman).
