oooo good one don....actually i got the idea from something very similar.....i was recording a VO track once in a quiet booth and the engineer turned up the can volume and burped in to the Talk back.....scared the ever living CRAp outta me and i smacked into the mic.....BINGO....perfect edit point. ...

Thanks Don, i checked out the trial version and youre right...this IS a dream. Puttin it on the company card ass soon as i get approval....

^^^^spoken well this is very true..... ...if you mess up, just repeat the sentence..... Also, depending on how you record...or how LONG your recording will be.....sometimes, in a controlled env, i will make two quick taps on the mic.....perhaps with my nail, or a pencil or something. I do voice presentations too....and i find the biggest thing to mask the edits...is making sure the voice inflections are the same.

e.g. Speaker says things in the same pitch, you dont forget the leave the breathing in....dont cut breaths off.....and TIMING.....etc

only real way to do this without any error....is to cut the tracks yourself.

just highlight the song in the big track....click File----> save selection as

This will only save what you have selected as any filetype you choose.

if both files start at the appropriate mix point....then open both files in goldwave...highlight and copy one file....select other file, and hit ctrl+m or MIX

adjust volumae accordingly
