Ram wil always handle things faster than you HDD....but space is so cheap right now, HDDs over 200GB dont cost all that much.... With ram, its different....you gotta match speed, and size, and if youre running dual channel, at what timings...blah blah however, like nick i have 2gigs.....love it with...

Depends on which revision SB card......

just as a VST note....as i use them all the time in sonar....both the instruments...and effects...are wonderful.

Just having the extra bit of "external" sound helps improve sound quality....and overall appeal....

..at least in MY travels.

Hey hey, im no stranger to that either....as i have an old celery 500 vaio laptop that i used to take around with me.....(i now havea P$ 2.0 and a PB G3 for that)

Nothing wrong with using things until you cant anymore.....but as stated above...might be a great excuse to upgrade....=]

also when doin volume adjusments...it only adjust what YOU tell it to. The only time it will resample or convert a song is when you tell it to. ...it'll even tell you whether or not the file can be saved in the desired sample rate....as a bit of error prevention. Side: this doesnt happen to be jperk...
