Hard ware needed?

Can anyone help?
I am interested in Goldwave for recording audio waves and downloading them onto voice modules.
What hardware would I need to download onto these modules?

:? What's a "voice module?" Is this some kind of voice-recorder chip? Or, a recorder-chip on a PC board or something?
