Play back just one channel

Post by CaptainKirk »

When editing, I find it distracting to hear both channels when I'm editing just one. I know how to use the Edit/Channel command but that doesn't stop the playback of both. Can I playback JUST one channel, for example while trying to isolate a problem, leaving the other available but untouched.

Goldwave 5.12 Win XP Pro SP2

Thanks,

Rick

In this case, usually, I use the slides of the mixing table (audio hardware), but sometimes I "copy/paste new" the channel, edit, and when finished, I copy, close, go to the original file, and "edit/replace".

You can set the Balance fader in GoldWave's Control window fully left or right to hear just that channel. You can right-click on the Balance fader to quickly set it left, right, or center as well.
