I bought 4.25 some time ago and have found it extremely useful.
Can a VST plugin be installed?

VST plug-ins are not support yet. It may be possible to use a DirectX VST wrapper/adapter plug-in in GoldWave v5 to get VST plug-ins working through the DirectX interface. See http://www.directxfiles.com for a list of plug-ins.

I've done this successfully with a utility called "VST-DX Wrapper Lite" which is available from [url]http://www.spinaudio.com/[/url]. Once installed, it shows up in GoldWave as a DirectX plug-in. When run, it allows you to choose a VST plug-in, which it then runs. It has worked fine whenever I've tried it (which is not very much; I've yet to run into many VST plug-ins of interest).
(Why the BBCodes aren't working is a mystery!)
