5 minutes recording cut off

I just downloaded the software (vers 5.14) to put vinyl on cd. No matter what I do, the recording cuts off after 5 minutes (New Sound, Quality and Duration set at 25 minutes).
I appreciate your help.

That is most likely a sound driver problem. Check to make sure you have plenty of space available on your hard drive while recording. If so, try using Windows Update to see if any hardware updates are available for your sound card.
