Microphone/Air Noise
I have some sound files where at some point the person while speaking got too close to the mic and there is a "pop" or puff of air type sound on the file. I tried using the pop/click filter to no avail. I tried esxperimenting with all of the effect filters and reducing the volume. They didn't help. What would you recommend?

GoldWave does not include any filters to repair such a problem. You might try searching on Google for "Pop and Sibilance" DirectX plug-ins.
