Since this has never worked for you, this isn't really a beta issue...

"What-U-Hear" is a Win7 & driver issue. A lot of soundcard/soundchip & drivers just don't allow that option. And, it's disabled by default in Win7. (I don't know if it can be enabled for your Creative card.) There is some information in the GoldWave FAQ that might help.

If you need more help, I think it would be a good idea to start a new topic, rather than continuing on the beta thread. Also, see the FAQ for information about monitoring line-in.

You are right, this seems to be a Windows 7 issue, not a GW one.
