Portable Version of Goldwave

Post by Blobby »

I know only a few have asked for a portable version but I think a lot of people don't like asking for things, Must admit I am one of them, that why I have put pen to paper, a Portable version would be very handy.

I've likewise thought about this a lot recently. A mobile app would be awesome, with some sort of layout such as this:

- Use it in landscape view, showing the two channel waveform with some semi-transparent overlay of time and control buttons.
- Use multi-touch to zoom in and out of the sound, and tap to set start and finish markers.
- Swipe up or down to flip between open sound files.
- Have a small button in the lower right that brings up a menu that lets you access edit commands (copy, paste, mix, etc), file commands (save), the effects list, and other open sound files.

This would open up a whole new type of traffic accidents. "Were you texting during the crash?"..."No, I was applying a flanger to this synth track."
