Hi all. I use this tool all the time, but since boot-up today, only ONE voice is available - normally I get a dropdown list of all the voices. I have checked for a new version, but I am currently up to date.

...but here are the installed voices:

Can anyone help?
Windoze 10 Pro, 64-bit. Was working just fine, but now Goldwave only sees the Zira voice.
TOOL/SPEECH CONVERTER - Does not "See" all installed voices
Re: TOOL/SPEECH CONVERTER - Does not "See" all installed voices
Fixed this by re-installing all the language packs. They were already installed, so I don't know what Windoze was doing, but once I reinstalled all the English voice packs, I have all my voices back again. Perhaps it was something that the latest Windoze 10 update screwed up - it would not surprise me. W10 updates seem to screw up more then they intend to fix most of the time.
Anyway, I have found a fix for it, and i've answered my own thread here. Moderators might like to delete the thread.

This thread may be useful for others if they encounter the same problem.
Re: TOOL/SPEECH CONVERTER - Does not "See" all installed voices
W10 keeps uninstalling the speech packs - without asking me, it just does it and they are not available the next time I try to use the tool. I can still fix the problem by re-installing the wanted speech packs again, but I have done that about 10 times now, and that lets me record the new voice prompts I need with GW, but next time I open GW, they are not available again. They are not available, cos they are not there in speech settings anymore either.
This is W10 problem(surprise surprise), and I have posted on the Windows forum, but currently there has not been any replies about the problem, so I guess MS don't even know why their OS is doing this.....
