I was wondering if 24 bit is in the future for MultiQ, and on the fly punchin repairs.
Thanks!

24 bit support and multichannel support are planned for Multiquence. Punch-in is possible (sort of) if you are using recording sections. You'd move the edit marker to the place you want to re-record within the recording section and play the project to start recording (the recording section must be in record mode).

any idea what the time frame might be for 24-bit? i'm in the process of learning multiquence, with the eventual goal of doing some multi-track recordings of my band. i'll be upgrading to a 24-bit 196khz sound card in the relatively near future, and i'd like to be able to use it to it's full potential.

not looking for specifics... but are we talking weeks? months? years? :)

Chris, Can you give more instructions on how to PUNCH IN. I'm recording long voice only narrations and would like to punch in instead of going back and editing.

It would be easier to use GoldWave for recording. Although you can do it in Multiquence, it involves setting the recording sections to playback mode to find the punch-in point to move the marker, then back again to recording mode to record. If you don't get it right every time, you could end up erasing the recording and there's no way to undo after.
