Some of the people I've been recording like to do a scratch track and/or a click track. Up till now I've been making a track by recording a metronome but thats kind of a pain at times.
Does anyone have any sujestions of any other possible ways to solve this?

You can use the Expression Evaluator tool in GoldWave to generate a click track. Look for the "Metronome" preset under the "Waves" branch, then set the f box to the number of beats per second (1=60 BPM, 1.5=90 BPM, 2 = 120 BPM, ...).
