Many of the new and inexpensive HD camcorders are recording in mov format with AAC stereo audio.
I'm using a video editing program that will play the video but will not handle the audio. The editing program apparently cannot see the audio format.
I can use Bias Sound Soap to extract and save the audio from the mov files as a wav file. I can then add the wav file to the editing program to end up with a file with both video and audio.
Does anyone know if this is possible with Multiquence or with Gold Wave?

Re: Audio conversion of mov files
Multiquence should handle both audio and video, but you'd have to reencode the file later (by using File | Save as video).
