How do I save as mp3?

First thing... yes, I have Lame installed. I got the version that is linked from this site... I have the lame_enc.dll in system32 and the Multiquence folder, but I can't see how you can save audio as an mp3, I can only save as a wave file.
Tell me I'm missing the obvious, please!

When you save, do you click "save as audio"? If so, when the dialogue box opens, click the arrow where you see the format listed (wav). Directly under "wav" should be "mp3".

I don't have 'Save as audio'...
If I 'Save as', it is only the project.

Wow. What version of MQ are you running? Most recent is 2.53.
If yours is ver 2.53, then I am stuck...we'll hafta ask Chris.

BTW I'm running the un-registered version, does that make a difference?
I'm not going to register if I can't save as mp3.

Thanks for your help Stiiv, it pointed me in the right direction.
I had installed 2.53 over 2.50... I have removed it and reinstalled, all is now fine.
