Occasionally I load MP4 videos into GW and export the audio track as MP3 file.
Surprisingly GW adds automatically (!) artwork with the saved MP3.
This artwork picture is visible as metainfo inside the MP3 file.
How can I disable (forever) the export of such artwork pictures when saving MP3 audio tracks from loaded videos?
Keep in mind: I don't want to prevent the export of other metadata such as artist or song title.
Just artwork stuff should not be added
Matt
Prevent export of artwork when saving MP3 from loaded video?
Re: Prevent export of artwork when saving MP3 from loaded vi
I don't know if you can disable that feature but with File -> Information you can delete the artwork.
...Realistically, with what you're doing you'll probably be editing the metadata anyway.

Re: Prevent export of artwork when saving MP3 from loaded vi
I have this same program creating .ogg files when converting .flac if there's album art in the source folder.
The artwork often is too large for my portable player to process resulting in crashes.
This should NEVER be an automatic option, and should be opt-in only.

Re: Prevent export of artwork when saving MP3 from loaded vi
If there is artwork embedded in the file, then that will be preserved when the audio is saved. Most users expect this behaviour, so it is not the kind of thing you can opt-in. You'll need to use File | Information to remove it or use File | Save Selection As instead (which does not save information).
