Recording 5.1??

Post by djduffy »

I have a USB sound "card" that supports SPDIF input [SONIX SN11116F chip]. I'd like to record 5.1. Can I do this with Multiquence?

Thanks,

Both GoldWave and Multiquence are limited to stereo recording. It is possible to create multiple recording sections in separate tracks in Multiquence, but you'd need sound hardware that emulates multiple sound cards so that you can select a different driver for each recording section. Otherwise you'd need to look for high-end software that supports 5.1 recording directly.
