Re: Can Goldwave facilitate audio editing virtual choir recording?

Give Videomeld a try. You will not alter the original files and you will not need to register it until you have tried it out. It's not hard to get your head around and well worth the effort.

Re: Changing track height nixes volume settings

Been mixing audio tracks here too. You can hit "F7" and you will see a blue line appear on the audio track. (See "Add audio effects" in the help files). You can drag this line down with the mouse and you can click on the line to create marker points and drag the line down between...

Importing cuepoints

Another thought, would it be possible to import cuepoints from Goldwave audio files so that one can see them in Videomeld audio tracks?

Track height

Just wondering if it is possible to store different track heights in projects rather than having to reset each time a project is opened. Would be nice to be able to do this.

Re: Fading in a radio recording

You are right about being able to do in your video editor. I do the same thing with Videomeld because you cannot do it easily in Goldwave. Does not take much time to and does not destroy the originals either.

Re: does goldwave have the feature to compare 2 tracks ?

Try Videomeld, make two tracks (shift+insert) and put your first music in track 1 and the second in track 2. When you hit the "play" button, both tracks will play together. You can pan one track to the left and the other to the right (effects and pan), makes it much easier to hear what is ...

Re: bug amplitude stats crashed the program when i select a tiny portion of audio

Just tried it here and it seems that anything less than 0.4 second goes wrong. I wonder if it is because there is not enough information for the tool to work on? Anyway enjoy the Xmas break and do not over-indulge🎶

Me again, after checking my three machines, I just discovered that the scroll lock stops working only when you select "Tabs" in the "Windows Options Menu". Hope this is helpful to you all. Cheers.

Re: Bug Report: 6.43. Change theme, scroll zoom stops working.

More info. I had to reinstall Windows on one of my laptops and when I re-installed Goldwave, the mousewheel scroll function worked. I changed the theme to the one I prefer, and the scroll still worked. Next, went to " Windows options " and checked "Sound windows tabs", "Alwa...

Re: Bug Report: 6.43. Change theme, scroll zoom stops working.

Same thing here. I use "charcoal dark smoke" as the theme on two laptpos and my main PC. Main PC Win 10 pro. Both laptops Win 10. (one laptop is nearly 9 years old). I installed the last two updates on all three machines. Same thing on all three. It does not worry me too much because it's ...

Try going to the " options " drop down menu and select the "file formats" option and you can set what you want there. You can also have a look at drop down menu " windows options " and in the miscellaneous section make sure that you have the "update default preset&...

Re: Recording Device Mono Selection

Nor me either, but you just record both L and R as a normal stereo signal, then uncheck the unwanted channel (the green check box on the left). Copy the other channel and paste into a new window which will be mono. Easy - just two shortcut keystrokes. Ctrl+C and then Ctrl+P.
