I recently updated both of my monitors (bigger size), but cannot find where in the menu is the save window position function. Every time I start Goldwave now the control window which used to be locked onto the second monitor, now spans both. I tried to look up the manual, but there was no clear entry.
A nice option would be to include saving window positions under user named workspaces, thus allowing the user to load an alternate workspace. Saved workspaces should also allow different displays in the control window.

Re: Save Position Of Control Window
The Control window position is saved whenever GoldWave closes. However high resolution (HDPI) displays can cause some issues. If possible please provide some details about your multi-monitor configuration (resolution, DPI scaling, etc).
Re: Save Position Of Control Window
Both 1920x1080. Same model Asus.
100% scaling, Landscape, Extended to the right.
Typically I have the Goldwave main window on the left and the control window on the right.
Perhaps a menu item, "save window settings now".
Or save Desktop/Workspace allowing named saves.
Thanks.

Re: Save Position Of Control Window
If the automatic saving feature isn't working, then adding a "Save" menu item wouldn't work either. We'd need to figure out why the automatic saving feature isn't working first. If you move the Main and Control windows around (on the same monitor) and close GoldWave, does it remember those positions when you restart? If you move the Control window into the center of other monitor and close GoldWave, does it stay on that monitor when you restart?
Re: Save Position Of Control Window
Chris,
Here are some tests:
Trial 1:
* Moved Main & Control to monitor 1. Roughly 50% vertical each. Main on L, Control on R.
* Exited Goldwave.
* Restarted Goldwave. Window position restored (saved).
Trial 2:
* Moved Main & Control to monitor 2. Roughly 50% vertical each. Main on L, Control on R.
* Exited Goldwave.
* Restarted Goldwave. Window position restored (saved).
Trial 3:
* Moved Control to monitor 1, keeping main on 2. Maximised both.
* Exited Goldwave.
* Restarted Goldwave:
+ Monitor 1 has main window, maximised.
+ Monitor 2 has control window, same position as Trial 2.
Trial 4:
* Repeat of Trial 1 to reset "memory".
* Reopened to confirm behaviour.
Trial 5:
* Moved Main & Control to monitor 2. Roughly 50% vertical each. Control on L, Main on R. (reverse of #2).
* Exited Goldwave.
* Restarted Goldwave. Window position restored (saved).
Trial 6:
* Moved Main to Monitor 1 and Control to Monitor 2, as per preferred way.
* Exited Goldwave.
* Restarted Goldwave. Main window on monitor 1, Control on left half of monitor 2.
Trials 3 & 6 may provide the clues to the error.

Thanks for those details. That will help track down the problem.
