Hi,
Thanks for the response.
I am using GoldWave 5.18 and experiencing some odd exception:
I built a small ASP.NET application to invoke a GoldWave process for batch process. It runs fine on one Windows XP machine but fails on another XP machine.
I got the following error message:
GoldWave.exe - Application Error
The application failed to initialize properly (0xc000042). Click on OK to terminate the application.
Any help will be greatly appreciated.

I bet this has to do with ASP.NET
Are you using ASP.NET?
If so I believe it has to do with ASP.NET's limitation.

Make sure that all the latest updates for XP and ASP.NET are installed on both computers. Also use the Windows Task Manager to see what programs are running on each computer and use "Add or Remove Programs" under the Control Panel to see what software is installed. That might give some insight into the difference.
