I have been using GoldWave for many years now, and I'm quite happy with it.
Just one thing is bothering me for some time now:
The Spectrogram Visual uses a linear (instead of logarithmic) scale for the frequency.
This is not very usesful, since most of the 'action' happens in the lower frequencies. At the other hand, I want to see the things happening at 22 Khz as well, but with less detail.
The Spectrum Visual does use the (more appropriate) logarithmic scale, but misses the 'time' aspect that I like so much in the Spectrogram.
So, if it's not a very big deal to change this...: pleeeease can the Spectrogram be logarithmic?

Re: Logarithmic Spectrogram
It is just a matter of time before a logarithmic option is added to the Spectrogram visual. For now you may want to try the Waterfall visual. It includes a logarithmic option and if you set the Height to 1, and scroll angle to 90, it is similar to the Spectrogram visual (but vertical).
