Need help with Pitch Function

Post by enjoy »

Hi everyone, i know GoldWave for a while, and it's really a good software!

I'm in my last Engineering School, and I have a project to realize which consist in slowing down an audio source during the file is played...

So i was wondering if you could help me about the techniques used to do this function, if you had some documentation or anything useful...

I have some knowledge about Speech, pitch, sampling and mathematics of course...

If you don't want to post, then I let you my email : cchhun@isep.fr

Thanks for your consideration

Audacity may be a good place to start. I believe that program contains a pitch/time function and complete source code is available. Also take a look at the effects in Sox.

The better way is to start understand how it works then you see more deep-in and you can evolve ;-).

Code: Select all
